This program provides funding for frontline communities disproportionately impacted by climate change to develop new or expand existing community-based climate resilience projects within King County limits. Projects should align with Sustainable & Resilient Frontline Communities Focus Areas and have immediate, tangible outcomes related to increasing education/awareness or increasing adaptation/resilience in the face of local climate change impacts such as food/housing/utility affordability, extreme weather (especially heat), wildfire smoke, and flooding.
