Reinvesting In Our community West Coast Community Bank is a full-service community bank serving four counties: Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Clara/Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz. Since our opening in February of 2004, we have made a commitment to support regional well-being by actively participating in and donating to local nonprofit organizations that provide services for the benefit of our community.

We understand that the strength of our community and our local economy directly affects our livelihood and the livelihood of everyone we serve. West Coast Community Bank has a Community Benefit Program for donation and sponsorship requests. To submit a Community Benefit Program request to the Bank, please refer to our guidelines and link provided below.

Request a Donation or Sponsorship Eligible organizations must be nonprofit, tax-exempt as defined in section 501(c) 3 of the Internal Revenue code, a public service organization or institution or a not-for-profit organization.

Based on the number of requests we receive, each qualified request will be evaluated based on: The relationship to the Bank The overall community benefit The Bank’s key funding priorities Please review our Community Benefit Program Info & Guidelines for more information and submit your request at least 60 days in advance of the event, program or purpose for which funds are being solicited.

Our Key Funding Priorities Health, human services and community development Organizations that promote wellness and stability, particularly in regard to benefiting low-to-moderate income individuals, seniors and minorities, are considered key funding priorities. Requests for support benefitting a broad base of individuals or groups within Monterey, San Luis Obispo, Santa Clara/Silicon Valley and Santa Cruz counties are also considered.

West Coast Community Bank employees participate in and volunteer for many worthy projects within our communities. If your organization could benefit from our volunteers, send information describing your organization and the assistance you need to Kim Luke, [email protected] . Applicants may also submit a cover letter and pertinent organization or program material by mail, following the Community Benefit Program Info & Guidelines .

Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley West Coast Community Bank proudly supports Boys and Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley and their International Day of the Girl campaign, advocating for the rights, education and empowerment of girls in Silicon Valley and around the world.

West Coast Community Bank employees share their holiday spirit by contributing holiday gifts and gift cards for the children of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Monterey County. CASA of Santa Cruz County Every year, West Coast Community Bank employees share their holiday spirit by contributing holiday gifts and gift cards for the children of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Santa Cruz County.

Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County West Coast Community Bank employees partnered with Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County to lead a digital literacy workshop, helping community members build safe and confident digital banking skills. West Coast Community Bank is an active member of local chambers of commerce in the communities we serve. Our employees regularly volunteer for events supporting local businesses.

West Coast Community Bank employees participate in events whose proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations that provide services for the benefit of our community. County of San Luis Obispo Probation Department West Coast Community Bank employees support Operation Christmas Angels by collecting and donating gifts to help brighten the holiday season for children in our local community.

West Coast Community Bank employees volunteer with SLO Grassroots, supporting their annual Thanksgiving Dinner for community members in need across San Luis Obispo County. West Coast Community Bank employees volunteer at Habitat for Humanity Monterey Bay's home development sites, helping local families secure affordable home ownership.

West Coast Community Bank supports Jack's Helping Hand by sponsoring community fundraising events that benefit children with cancer or special needs and their families in San Luis Obispo County.

West Coast Community Bank employees participate in Monarch Services' annual Stronger Together Walk‑Run, which promotes wellness, solidarity, and support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking across Santa Cruz County.

Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation West Coast Community Bank sponsors and volunteers for the Monterey Firefighters Community Foundation, in support of their fundraising, educational, outreach and community events. West Coast Community Bank employees participate in and volunteer for the annual Relay for Life of the Salinas Valley in support of the American Cancer Society.

West Coast Community Bank supports and volunteers at the Salinas Valley Airshow, an annual fundraiser benefitting youth-focused nonprofit organizations in the Salinas Valley. West Coast Community Bank sponsors and volunteers for Santa Cruz Shakespeare, supporting the organization's Community and School Matinee programs that provide educational experiences to 1,000 students annually.

Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary West Coast Community Bank sponsors, participates in and volunteers for the Santa Cruz Sunrise Rotary Club and their annual Rotary Ride fundraiser, benefiting local youth-focused nonprofit organizations. The Rotary Ride, founded by Jon Sisk, our Chief Banking Officer, celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2022!

West Coast Community Bank supports Save Our Shores by volunteering for the Annual Coastal Cleanup Day which removes trash and debris from our beaches. Scotts Valley Art & Wine Volunteers West Coast Community Bank is a proud member of all our local Chambers of Commerce and Team WCCB enjoys volunteering to support fellow Chamber members and their businesses.

West Coast Community Bank volunteers for Food Sort Work Days and participates in Second Harvest Food Bank's Annual Holiday Food & Fund Drive, with every $1 raised providing 3 healthy meals for local families.

Stroke Awareness Foundation West Coast Community Bank employees participate in the Stroke Awareness Foundation's Stroke Walk, where every second counts in raising awareness of stroke recognition and timely care across Silicon Valley. West Coast Community Bank has sponsored and participated in the Stuff the Bus back-to-school supplies campaign since its inception.

Each year Team WCCB helps stuff backpacks with school supplies for thousands of local children experiencing homelessness and/or extreme hardships.
