Number of projects funded Number of beds/units projected The CCE Capital Expansion program has made $570 million available in infrastructure grants for capital expansion projects, including acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of residential care settings. Grantees may be approved to use a portion of these funds to establish a capitalized operating subsidy reserve (COSR) for projects, for up to 5 years.
Applications for CCE Capital Expansion project funding were accepted through a Joint Request for Applications (RFA) . The application portal closed on June 1, 2023. For more information about CCE Capital Expansion, click here .
The CCE Preservation program has made $249 million in non-competitive grants available to counties to preserve local licensed care settings that currently serve the CCE population. Counties may provide Operating Subsidy Payment funds and/or Capital Project funds to preserve existing licensed facilities in need of critical repairs or upgrades.
By preventing closure of such facilities, the CCE Preservation Program can prevent residents of such facilities from experiencing homelessness.
