The CDBG program provides flexible funding for community development activities aimed at neighborhood revitalization, economic development, and improved community facilities/services.
In Colorado, funds can be used for acquisition, design/engineering, construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation, or installation of public improvements or facilities. Projects must benefit low- and moderate-income persons, aid in the prevention or elimination of slums and blight, or meet urgent community development needs.
Additional funding is available through the Disaster Recovery Initiative (DRI) and Disaster Recovery Enhancement Fund (DREF).
