The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE) Water Well Viewer (WWV), is an interactive mapping system that displays water wells along with other information, such as wellhead protection areas, underground storage tanks, and sites of environmental contamination. Water well locations have been identified by address matching, the use of global positioning systems (GPS), and by legal descriptions.
This system allows water well drilling and pump installation contractors to submit water well records.

# Community Energy Management Program # Community Energy Management Program 1. [](https://www. michigan.
gov/egle "Home") 7. Community Energy Management Program EGLE is offering financial assistance for communities to improve energy management and accelerate the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy through the Community Energy Management Program (CEM). Grant funding is available to local governments, tribal governments,and other public-service entities for energy-related projects.
The maximum grant award is $50,000 per applicant. Community Energy Management Program Update Fiscal Year 2026 Application is closed. Additional funding is expected to be added in Fall 2026.

This is a waitlist and does not constitute an actual application for the CEM program. ## Eligibility Requirements CEM is designed to meet applicants wherever they are on the energy management spectrum.
Accordingly, CEM can be used to fund a range of energy-related projects such as, but not limited to, energy management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, fleet electrification, EV charging infrastructure, sustainable financing solutions, and/or clean energy workforce development. Review the Eligibility Criteria section of the RFP, linked below, to see the full list of eligible projects.
*_At this time, public schools and universities are not eligible to apply for the CEM program. _ *_Renewable energy projects will only be considered after all, or a majority of, energy efficiency upgrades have been completed as identified in an ASHRAE Level II audit.
_ Applicants must be physically located in Michigan and one of the following: * Other public service entity A total of $750,000 in funding is available through the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) State Energy Program (SEP) Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (SEP BIL) allocation. The minimum and maximum grant award size for these allocations is: 1. Minimum individual grant award for this portion of funding is $5,000.
2. Maximum individual grant award for this portion of funding is $50,000. Eligible expenditures include contractual services, supplies/materials, and equipment items.
EGLE WILL NOT FUND ANY EXPENDITURES THAT HAVE OCCURRED BEFORE A GRANT AGREEMENT HAS BEEN EXECUTED. Grant awards will be distributed on a reimbursement basis only, meaning grantees must pay project costs in full prior to receiving funds from EGLE. EGLE will reimburse grantees their award amount once proper invoices, receipts, and proof of payments have been received and reviewed.
