UCSF Brain Tumor SPORE Career Enhancement Program (CEP) Awards A component of the UCSF Brain Tumor SPORE, the Career Enhancement Program (CEP) aims to attract outstanding basic scientists and clinical investigators to the field of brain tumor research, to assist in the career development of junior faculty in the basic and clinical sciences, and to encourage collaborations between investigators which can lead to new ideas and directions in brain tumor research and can contribute to career development.
HDFCCC Community-Engaged Research Pilot Awards The UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC) Office of Community Engagement invites applications for up to three one-year pilot awards of $25,000 to support community-engaged cancer research, education, outreach, implementation, or translation projects that address the needs of communities within our 25-county catchment area.
These awards are intended to strengthen equitable and bi-directional partnerships between UCSF investigators and community organizations while advancing projects that address cancer priorities identified by the HDFCCC Community Advisory Board. UCSF Prostate Cancer Program Pilot Awards The UCSF Prostate Cancer Program announces an opportunity for pilot research funding in any area of investigation in prostate cancer.
Funds are available to support multiple proposals. All areas of prostate cancer research including computational, laboratory, translational, clinical, and population sciences are eligible. Foundations/Other Sources Elsa U.
Pardee Foundation Cancer Research Grants The Elsa U. Pardee Foundation has issued a request for applications for cancer research grants. Proposed projects may be relevant to any area of cancer detection, treatment, or cure.
Funding is intended to allow the establishment of capabilities of new cancer researchers or new cancer approaches by established cancer researchers, and lead to subsequent and expanded support using government agency funding.
The Mike Slive Foundation for Prostate Cancer Research Pilot Research Grant Guided by a commitment to find a cure for prostate cancer, this program funds pilot grants for innovative research to allow researchers to establish proof-of-concept when applying for larger, highly competitive federal grants.
Research projects may focus on any topic related to the scientific study of prostate cancer, including but not limited to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or etiology of prostate cancer. The investigation of these topics may be basic, translational, behavioral, or clinical in nature.
Upstream Research Center Pilot Grants The Upstream Research Center, co-led by Stanford, UC Davis, and UCSF, invites applications for pilot grants focused on the social drivers of cancer in areas experiencing persistent poverty. Projects must focus on research relevant to exposures experienced in persistent poverty areas in Northern California.
