To accomplish that mission, the ICTS is dedicated to engaging the community at all stages of research. We do this by training researchers and community members to work together and providing funding to support and advance these partnerships. The**Center for Community Health Partnership and Research**(CCHPR), aims to improve health and wellness in the region by supporting collaborations between community and university partners.
It provides a single access point for researchers, community members, and other community stakeholders and serves as the community engagement arm of the ICTS. Community Studios provide a structured forum for researchers to gain valuable patient or community input at different stages of research development and implementation. If you are interested in requesting a Community studio, complete this brief form.
Partnership Development & Sustainability Support (PDSS) Funding Program PDSS funding provides ICTS investigators and their community partner(s) with up to $10,000 over a 12-month period to develop the trust, infrastructure, capacity, and skills needed to do research together. The PDSS is open to new partnerships in development, as well as existing partnerships.
