23. 24 Introduction to NSTL Grant Transparency Portal To strengthen public confidence in SLDC’s process of evaluating applications for the North St. Louis Small Business & Non-Profit Grant Program — and to remain as transparent as possible as funds are disbursed to conditionally approved applicants — we have established the NSTL Grant Transparency Portal.

Community Enhancement & Community Needs Grant Program (Competitive) Community Enhancement (Façade, Rehabilitation, and New Construction) Grants for small for-profit and non-profit businesses for community enhancement that includes, facade improvements, site rehabilitation and new construction with proven capacity need for enhancement and meet eligible program expenditures.

Grants for small for-profit and non-profit business organizations, new to a neighborhood, and fills a gap in needed neighborhood services, to include professional or health services or enhanced retail or cultural offerings. ONLY for established businesses expanding into eligible geographic areas with site control.

Supplemental Support Grant Program The Supplemental Support Grant is to support those applicants who spent time and resources dedicated to submitting an application to the program but were unsuccessful in being awarded grants through the competitive programs.

Please note that funding these grants is conditional upon a completed viability assessment and clearance from the License Collector’s Office and the Collector of Revenue for each business.
