The DNREC Environmental Justice Office is accepting applications for the 2027 Community Environmental Project Fund (CEPF) grants. This fund is generated from penalties for violations of state environmental laws.
Projects should aim to eliminate, minimize, or reduce environmental pollution and risks, improve natural resources and habitats, or enhance recreational opportunities. Preference is given to projects in communities within two miles of where an environmental violation occurred.
