Community Foundation of Boone County Announces 2025 Unrestricted Grant Recipients Community Foundation of Boone County Announces 2025 Unrestricted Grant Recipients The Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) is thrilled to announce the recipients of the final competitive grant cycle for 2025, totaling more than $162,045 to 19 Boone County-serving nonprofit organizations.

These unrestricted grants, aimed at addressing a wide range of community needs, will support critical programs in areas of education, health and wellness, and community connectivity. “These grants represent more than funding – they represent partnership. Every organization in this cycle plays a vital role in strengthening Boone County, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support the work they do every day.

In 2025, CFBC has awarded more than $1. 24 million dollars in grants through various programs, and will continue to award more before year end.

This final round of competitive funding represents the CFBC’s continued dedication to uplifting Boone County’s nonprofits and ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed. The Community Foundation of Boone County exists to unite people, organizations, and philanthropy to create a thriving community for all.

Since 1991, its leaders have worked to empower and engage local communities to make a difference right here in Boone County, while also leading a vision to collaboratively address the root causes of challenges facing Boone County in diverse and equitable ways.

The Community Foundation continues to invest in the people working to fill local needs and has granted more than $31 million to nonprofit organizations and programs working to solve critical challenges in Boone County. With nearly $40 million in assets, the Community Foundation works with donors to create permanent funds for charitable giving, to strengthen Boone County for generations to come.
