New grant application process at the Community Foundation All those who are interested in applying for a grant are encouraged to contact CFPC at 574-946-0906 or to stop by our offices at 127 E Pearl St. in Winamac. Grant guidelines and additional information can be found at: www.

cfopc. org/grants In 2023, the Community Foundation has a little over $85,000 available to award as grants during the year. There are no caps on the amount you can request, including operating support.

Organizations can reapply for operating support for up to three consecutive years. The Community Foundation’s Grants Committee meets three times a year to review applications. The grant application is open all year round with quarterly submission dates on March 31, July 1, and Oct.

1. The CFPC Grants Committee makes funding recommendations to the board of directors. Final decisions are generally made within 40 days of each quarterly deadline.

U.S. 35 to close for seal coat work PULASKI/CASS COUNTY - Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews will conduct seal coat operations on U.S. 35 between SR 119 and SR 16 starting on or after Monday, Aug. 17. Scrub seal operations will take place for approximately four days during the hours of 6 a.

m. to 6 p. m.

Motorists should seek alternate routes. The recommended state road detour is SR 14, SR 39 and SR 16. (SR 119 is currently closed between SR 16 and U.S. 35 due to flooding and may not reopen prior to these operations on U.S. 35.)

us . 2027 Lilly Endowment Scholarship application now available The 2027 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship application is now available through the Community Foundation of Pulaski County. The Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program (LECSP) will provide 147 scholarships statewide and one scholarship in Pulaski County.

LECSP scholarships may be used for otherwise unreimbursed full undergraduate tuition, required fees, and a special allocation of up to $900 per year. 2026 PC Farmers Market open for summer Saturdays Pulaski County Farmers Market is open for the summer season with a weekly location in Winamac. The Market features fresh produce, plus local meats, maple syrup, honey, eggs, baked goods, sweet treats, cut flowers and coffee.

The market will be open from 9 a. m. to 12 noon, Saturdays June through September, on Main Street in front of the courthouse in Winamac.
