Community Impact Grants were created by Community Foundation of West Tennessee in 2016 to serve as funding opportunities for local nonprofits and funds to help make an impact in our area. Since its inception, we have awarded $456,444 back into the community through these grants. Previous organizations awarded have been in the arts, education, healthcare, legal services, and more.

This year's award recipients are: Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA) Benton County Schools Coordinated Health Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee United Way of West Tennessee Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee PAWS of Benton County, Tennessee Habitat for Humanity Jackson Rotary Heart and Sole Fund read about this year's recipients "With help from the grant, we have served 74 clients and their families during the grant period (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), which doubled from 35 immigrant families in the previous year.
We were aware of the need for services to assist victims of crime and domestic violence in their immigration cases, but we could not have predicted that those have become over 40% of our cases in the last 12 months."
