Our Community Funded Programs fill critical gaps by providing financial assistance for essential services, unexpected expenses, and personal growth opportunities. From covering costs that other funding sources won’t to supporting personal achievements, we’re here to offer meaningful help when it’s needed most. The Jefferson County Unmet Needs Program provides critical support to individuals with developmental delays (DD) or intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who live at home with their families. While there are many great ways to give back to DDRC every winter, Lynn Fiedorowiz found a way that includes a few close friends, holiday treats, and a signature White Cranberry Martini.
Every winter, DDRC hosts our traditional Holiday Gift Card Drive, where $25 gift cards are collected with help from the community and then given to program participants in significant need… years serving the community Community Funding for Disability Programs Are there income requirements to qualify? No, these programs are based on need rather than income. Our focus is on providing support where other funding sources fall short.
