5 million since 2010 Scholarship funds awarded to local students for higher education Community grants provided to local nonprofit organizations Emergency assistance to community organizations and individuals impacted by violence, flooding, and wildfires. Scholarship initiatives for local graduating high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education.
Local Change supports our Colorado communities by awarding community grants annually to area nonprofit organizations. With support from Elevations, Local Change is offering down payment assistance to qualified applicants. The Local Change Foundation focuses our efforts on four primary areas of need.
Expanding Access to Affordable Housing Local Change is dedicated to advancing housing equity and stability across our communities. Through our Community Grants Program, we support nonprofit organizations working to increase access to affordable housing. We also help individuals and families achieve homeownership through our Down Payment Assistance Program, making the dream of owning a home more attainable.
Investing in Mental Health Resources We are committed to expanding access to mental health care and support. Through our Community Grants Program, we fund nonprofit organizations that deliver essential mental health services, education, and advocacy. By investing in these efforts, we help build stronger, more resilient communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Opening doors to higher education Local Change is committed to helping students pursue college and trade school. Through our Scholarship Program, we provide direct financial support to outstanding students with dreams of post-secondary education. These scholarships help reduce financial barriers and empower students to focus on achieving their academic and career goals.
Local Change Disaster Assistance Responding in Times of Crisis When disaster strikes, Local Change acts quickly to support those affected. We open disaster relief funds to provide immediate financial assistance to trusted local organizations delivering emergency aid and recovery services. These funds help communities rebuild and recover.
