ACF, City of Phoenix, Arizona State University, and Desert Botanical Garden have announced Arizona's Environmental Convening - 122°, a national convening on extreme heat resilience taking place December 2-3, 2026, in downtown Phoenix. Founding member of the Arizona Community Foundation has passed away at the age of 88. A new cooled water fountain in Phoenix’s Maryvale neighborhood is available.
Through the City of Phoenix, with funding support from partners including ACF, the cooled fountain is a welcome improvement for neighborhoods like Maryvale that are hit hardest by extreme heat. Tuesday, September 29 - 4:30 to 6:00 p. m.
