Community grants for supporting the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers | BETA - South Gloucestershire Council Community grants for supporting the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers Community grants for supporting the resettlement of refugees and asylum seekers Grants between £200 and £7,000 are available to organisations and community groups who wish to help support refugees and asylum seekers in South Gloucestershire.
The grant amount you can apply for will depend on the size of your project or event as below: £200 to £1,999 for small local projects £2,000 to £4,999 for large projects £5,000 to £7,000 for South Gloucestershire wide projects Grants will be available until the end of until March 2026 or until the funding has been fully allocated.
The following organisations and groups can apply: social enterprise organisations voluntary and community sector enterprises Priority will be given to applications that demonstrate the potential for making a positive impact on supporting the integration of refugees and asylum seekers in South Gloucestershire.
Applicants should demonstrate that their project will support integration activities, social and cultural events, well-being initiatives, training sessions, and group developmental activities or events for all our refugee and asylum seeker communities. Funding will only be considered for projects in South Gloucestershire. Read the principles for more information and the full details on restrictions and exclusions.
You must create a registration account online and provide full details of your organisation so that the record can be approved before you make an application. Completed application forms should be emailed to ResettlingCommunities@southglos. gov.uk Alternatively you can post your application to us at: South Gloucestershire Council Service for Resettling Communities Find out how we collect, use and share your data in our privacy notice . Submitted applications will be reviewed by a panel every 2 weeks.
