Forsyth County, North Carolina Forsyth County Community Grants Forsyth County Community Grants Forsyth County Community Grants As part of its annual budget, Forsyth County may provide funding, if available and approved by the Board of County Commissioners, to non-profit agencies that offer community services to County residents. This funding, called "Community Grants," is for a period of one year.

The limited budget for Community Grants is intended for the following County Policies and Goals: Safety - Create a community that is safe. Health - Create a community that is healthy. Education - Create a community with educational opportunities for everyone.

Cultural - Create a community that enhances the knowledge, beliefs and customs of everyone. Economic Opportunities - Create a community with economic opportunities for everyone. View the Community Grants Policy for details.

Forsyth County Community Portal The anticipated FY27 timeline is below: October 13 - November 30, 2025 – Open application period May 18, 2026 at 6 pm – Public Hearing on proposed budget June 4 - June 25, 2026 – Possible adoption dates of FY27 Budget Ordinance July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 – Term of service for all approved programs For additional information or assistance, please contact: FY27 Application Information The FY27 Community Grants application opened October 13, 2025 at 8 am and closed November 30, 2025 at 11:59 pm.
