Restoration Authority Grants | San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority Restoration Authority Grants Measure AA 2026–2027 Grant Round is now open! Funding is available for shoreline habitat restoration, flood resilience, and public access projects that improve San Francisco Bay and benefit local communities. Measure AA 2026-2027 Grant Round: The San Francisco Bay Restoration Authority's latest grant round is open!
The Authority can fund proposals that are: Habitat projects that aim to restore, protect, or enhance natural habitats on the shoreline in the San Francisco Bay Area; Flood management projects that are part of habitat projects; or Public access projects that will provide or improve access or recreational amenities that are part of habitat projects.
The Authority is particularly interested in supporting projects that address equity and include benefits to economically disadvantaged communities and California Native American Tribes (See our Equity Guidelines and Tribal Engagement Recommendations ).
Additionally, the Authority is seeking projects that help meet Measure AA Campaign Goals, such as restoring subtidal habitat (for shellfish and submerged aquatic vegetation) and constructing Bay Trail. More information on project eligibility, eligible grantees, and prioritization criteria can be found in the Request for Proposals. Full proposals are due October 5, 2026 .

org ) by end of July 16. There will be a future opportunity to present to the Conservation Committee in the coming months. A recording of the webinar will be posted here after July 16.
