Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations Programs serving children & families in our service area towns (Arlington, Bondville, Danby, Dorset, Jamaica, Landgrove, Londonderry, Manchester, Newfane/Newbrook, Pawlet, Peru, South Londonderry, Stratton, Sunderland, Townshend, Wardsboro, Weston, Windham, and Winhall) Basic necessities (safety, warmth, shelter) Education & economic opportunity programs April 1–30 (for June decisions, grant requests of any amount) September 1-30 (for October decisions, grants up to $5,000) December 1-31 (for January decisions, grants up to $5,000) Complete the official application (linked here when grant cycles are open) Emergency Assistance Gift applications must be filled out by a referring social service partner or school administrator.

Emergency Assistance Gift Application Moving Mountains funds are a component of the Head-to-Toe program intended to provide school administrators with discretionary funds to care for the immediate needs of your low-income children and families. Requests for Moving Mountains are considered on a rolling basis, and do not require a grant application within our review periods.
Please fill out the form to request Moving Mountains funds that range from $1,000-$3,000 relevant to your school population and rate of low-income/poverty. Moving Mountains funds may be used to address hunger, basic necessities, and health; they may not be used for school operational expenses. Apply for Grants & Scholarships The Stratton Foundation supports programs that address poverty by promoting the health, hygiene, and well-being of vulnerable children; fostering school readiness by reducing learning barriers; and helping children develop essential skills for a productive life. We aim to facilitate the startup and advancement of critical programs by funding initiatives with strong self-sustainability plans.
