Community Grants is sponsored by Rotary Club of Pensacola. The Rotary Club of Pensacola supports local community projects through grants to local charitable 501(c)(3) organizations.

Rotary Club of Pensacola: Community Grants The Rotary Club of Pensacola supports local community projects through a limited number of grants awarded annually to local charitable 501(c)(3) organizations. The guidelines and timetable for this year’s grant application process are outlined below. Unlike in past years, the Club will award five (5) individual grants of $2,000 each.

To maximize the impact of Rotary’s funding across the broader community, eligibility this year will be limited to organizations that did not receive a grant from the Rotary Club of Pensacola last year. Because all grants will be awarded in equal amounts, applicants do not need to request a specific funding amount in this year’s application.

This approach is designed to ensure a fair and balanced distribution of resources and to expand Rotary’s reach to additional organizations serving our community.

Grant Application Guidelines: The Club supports projects that address community issues such as: Peace and conflict prevention/resolution Disease prevention and treatment Maternal and child health Basic education and literacy Economic and community development Projects, by definition, include specific outcomes/deliverables and are timebound.

Specific individual(s) who find themselves in a difficult financial situation and those who individually seek to do good works on their own are not eligible individually. Individuals who want to engage in independent charitable work are requested to partner with an eligible charitable organization to submit a grant application. A grant will only be considered if all documentation is complete and submitted by the deadline.

Recipients should provide the Rotary Club of Pensacola with a follow-up report summary regarding the effect of Rotary’s grant. This could include receipts, photographs, testimonials, numbers served, overall impact, etc. Recipients are requested to acknowledge the Rotary Club of Pensacola in their own publicity and authorize Rotary to publish information about the project. Projects can be short and simple or complex and lengthy.

The Club’s grant is for use during the year following any award. Support for a phase within a longer duration project may be considered if it otherwise meets requirements.
