Organizational Grants – Humboldt Area Foundation The Humboldt Health Foundation Community Health Grant supports programs and projects that enhance the physical and mental well-being of Humboldt County residents, improve the health of those who have experienced social or economic disadvantages, create or support access and/or service delivery for under-served and marginalized populations, and/or have a lasting impact or plan for sustainability after HHF grant funding is expended.

We recognize that racism is a critical public health issue impacting our region. Therefore, HHF will prioritize funding for organizations and groups that support the health and wellbeing of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Community Health Grants support programs and projects that: Enhance the physical and mental well-being of Humboldt County residents and communities Improve the health of those with social or economic disadvantages, the underserved, and/or marginalized, with priority going to organizations supporting the health and wellbeing of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Have potential to make significant community impact Bring people together to work on issues of community concern HHF makes grants for general operating support, programs, services, advocacy, organizing, civic engagement, capital campaigns, capital improvement projects, and racial equity training and consulting.
