CABQ Community Impact Fund 2021 — City of Albuquerque Program Summary (program is now closed) The City of Albuquerque is distributing direct financial relief to households facing financial hardship because of COVID-19. Eligible households will receive $1,000.
The application period for the Community Impact Fund 2021 has expired, however, applications will continue to be accepted and will now be reviewed on a first come, first served basis. Applications will be reviewed and funded, if approved, until all funds are exhausted. If you are a recipient of these funds, you are agreeing to take a survey in November 2021.
To be eligible, households must self-attest that they: Experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 resulting in an inability to cover some or all basic living expenses such as food, transportation, housing, or medical expenses; Since March 3, 2021, experienced reduction of time worked, pay, or a layoff due to COVID-19, resulting in a financial hardship; Do not qualify for unemployment insurance; Did not qualify for one or more federal stimulus checks; Lives in a household of at least two individuals; and Had a household income of less than $75,000 for the 2020 income tax year.
To protect against fraud, your identity will need to be verified. To do so, you will be prompted to take a photo of a form of ID with your photograph and address on it. You will also be required to take a photo of yourself.
This is only used to verify your identity and it will be deleted after 90 days. PLEASE NOTE: You will need a smartphone to complete this process, and you cannot save your work as you go, so please be sure you have everything you need before you start.
