Community Impact Grant Program is sponsored by National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC). This program, supported by the Grubhub Community Fund, provides grants to LGBTQ+ owned or LGBTQ+ ally-owned restaurants, bars, and cafés that serve food.

These initiatives are designed to support NGLCC Certified LGBTBE® suppliers by alleviating the financial burdens associated with business operations and certification costs.

By providing access to essential funding, NGLCC empowers diverse-owned businesses to enhance their competitiveness, expand their networks, and seize new opportunities in the marketplace. NLGCC Community Impact Fund Supported by the Grubhub Community Fund NGLCC and the Grubhub Community Fund have come together once again to provide vital assistance for LGBTQ+-owned and allied restaurants, cafes, bars serving food, and other eating establishments.

The NGLCC Community Impact Grant Program, supported by the Grubhub Community Fund, provides a financial lifeline to these businesses with grants ranging from $5,000 to $25,000. To be eligible for the Community Impact Grant, applicants must: – Be an LGBTQ+-owned or LGBTQ+ ally-owned restaurant, bar or café that serves food. – Provide proof that you are an LGBTQ+-owned or allied establishment.

– Establishment has not received 2+ NGLCC Community Impact Grants in previous years – Please note: Partnership with NGLCC or Grubhub is not a requirement for application. Thank you for your interest in the Grubhub Community Fund! Stay tuned for the launch of 2025 applications and deadlines.

Denny’s and NGLCC College Scholarship Since 2011, Denny’s has been preparing students for the future through the Hungry for Education™ scholarship program. They have given away $2. 5 million in scholarships to support deserving students who are tru ly difference-makers in their communities.

Denny’s HFE scholarship program is pa rtnering with NGLCC to award scholarships to deserving high school and college students for their ideas on bringing communities together. Available Scholarships: 4 Scholarship Amount: $2,500 Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must identify as a member of the LGBT community.

LGBT students of color, those that identify as transgender or non-binary, LGBT students with disabilities and those with geographic diversity are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Grades and academic performance will serve as indicators of potential; however, an emphasis may be placed on the individual’s essay submission.

Through this scholarship, local affiliate LGBTQ+ chamber membership and certification fees will be sponsored for LGBTQ+ business owner scholarship recipients. Becoming certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) can open the door to an array of new business growth opportunities.

Thanks to the generous support of JPMorgan Chase & Co. , we are accepting applications on a rolling basis. For LGBTQ+ business owners applying to join their local chamber and certify as an LGBT Business Enterprise (LGBTBE), you must begin the LGBTBE certification application within 30 days of notification of receiving the scholarship, or your scholarship acceptance will be rescinded, and you will have to re-apply to be considered.

LGBTQ+ business owners seeking reimbursement for local membership dues or certification fees must submit proof of membership dues payment through this application form; they must also commit to becoming an LGBTBE certified supplier with fees sponsored through their local membership. Participating businesses are to be determined by NGLCC, resulting in an approved certification.

Wells Fargo Communities of Color (CoCi) Certification and Affiliate Chamber Membership Scholarship In partnership with Wells Fargo, we are excited to offer scholarships for our Communities of Color LGBTBEs.

This application is for minority business owners to apply to have their local affiliate LGBTQ+ chamber membership dues sponsored for their first year of membership in order to become NGLCC Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) suppliers. LGBTBE Certification fees are waived once your business is an active member of your local NGLCC affiliate LGBT chamber of commerce.

If you do not begin the LGBTBE certification application within 30 days of notification of receiving the scholarship, your scholarship acceptance will be rescinded and you will have to re-apply to be considered. This application is for Transgender & Gender Expansive (TGX) owned businesses to apply to have their affiliate chamber dues waived in the first year of membership in order to become NGLCC Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (LGBTBE) suppliers. LGBTBE Certification fees are waived once your business is an active member of your local NGLCC affiliate LGBT chamber of commerce.

com/forms/tgxcertificationscholarship Walmart & Sam’s Club Certification Support Program NGLCC is excited to announce our partnership with Walmart and Sam’s Club Certification Support Program. This initiative aims to expand economic opportunities and support diversity in its supplier network.

We encourage eligible LGBTQ+- owned businesses that provide services or are in the retail industry to obtain their initial certification or recertify their expire certification through the program. By joining, certified businesses will gain access to a vast market network and potential opportunities within Walmart’s and Sam’s Club diverse procurement ecosystem.
