Community Impact Grants (AgriBank - Twin Cities Area Charitable Giving) is sponsored by AgriBank. AgriBank supports communities in Minnesota's Twin Cities metro area through grants to nonprofits, including organizations providing housing, food, and general welfare support to those in need, and those providing opportunities for youth in agricultural and financial education.

Corporate Social Responsibility Corporate Social Responsibility Dedicated Professionals on a Mission Ultimately, AgriBank’s mission is to support the people who feed the world—but our passion for helping people begins at home and extends to everything we do.

Under our Corporate Social Responsibility program, we support the communities where we live and work through employee volunteering and giving as well as company grants and scholarships. Twin Cities Area Charitable Giving Each year AgriBank donates to charities serving Minnesota’s Twin Cities metro area, investing in nonprofits serving communities in and around our St. Paul headquarters.

AgriBank contributes to a diverse array of charitable organizations. One of the primary areas of AgriBank’s giving: organizations providing housing, food and general welfare support to those in need. AgriBank contributes to organizations that focus on immediate needs such as emergency housing and prepared meals.

Other grant recipients focus on clothing, packaged foods and transitional housing supplies. Another area of focus for AgriBank’s giving includes organizations that provide opportunities for youth in agricultural and financial education. Supporting the next generation not only engages potential future employees, it also provides an opportunity for the Bank employees to share their experiences and knowledge with students.

Through the Culture Awards program, twice a year five employees receive recognition for embodying one of the Bank’s culture characteristics: Mission, Integrity, Excellence, Support or Improvement. AgriBank makes a donation on behalf of each of the award winners to the nonprofit of their choice. AgriBank partners with Agriculture Future of America (AFA) each year to award the William J.

Collins scholarships, focused on developing the next generation of agriculture leaders. The $2,000 scholarships, named for a former AgriBank CEO, go to children of Farm Credit employees within the AgriBank District who are planning to pursue careers in an agriculture-related field or a future occupation in rural America.

Keri Votruba Future of Farming Endowment AgriBank established the Keri Votruba Future of Farming endowment in conjunction with Nebraska FFA Foundation. The endowment, named for a former AgriBank board chair, recognizes students with a Supervised Agricultural Experience in crop production or livestock production through the Nebraska FFA Association’s proficiency award program.

National Farm Credit Grants In addition to our charitable programs, AgriBank also contributes to Farm Credit’s national contributions program, which supports causes such as HBCU Partnership Challenge (benefiting historically Black colleges and universities), FFA, 4-H, and programs that help veterans and other young, beginning and small-operation farmers.

Rural Community Grant Fund In North Dakota, AgriBank partners with two local Farm Credit lenders—AgCountry Farm Credit Services and Farm Credit Services of Mandan—to provide grants that support communities impacted by mineral development in the Bakken region. Over the years, the Rural Community Grant Fund has provided more than $7.

3 million in grants for infrastructure improvements and development initiatives, hospitals and clinics, equipment, training and other help for emergency responders, schools, and other worthy projects critical to the strength of local communities.
