This report celebrates the vision, leadership and collaborative efforts driving lasting change in our communities. Impact Across North Texas Counties Spanning nine counties, Texas Health Community Impact leverages a regional approach for data-driven funding strategies and grant opportunities.
Governed by five Leadership Councils made up of community volunteers, each region is positioned to develop their strategy with a clear understanding of community needs and priorities unique to its area. Our funding priorities are guided by Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) as a foundation, in addition to other data sources—like the U.S. Census Bureau and Healthy North Texas.
We use these trusted data sources to help us fully understand the intersection of health and non-medical drivers of health, plus their impact on health outcomes. Join us in making a difference! Successful Collaborations Driven to catalyze change at the local level, Texas Health has allocated $23. 2 million in Texas Health Community Impact grants to North Texas organizations since 2019.
These grants fund bold initiatives led by community collaborations to address mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being in our communities of greatest need. Through past grants, we helped transform communities, leading to ripple effects that will be felt for many years to come.
