With input from our donors and community partners, the Community Foundation has identified four priority areas based on the short- and long-term results we hope to achieve. Click on the categories below to learn more about our objectives and how we are working in these areas.
Supporting organizations that make the richmond region known for its creative spirit, vibrant arts, diverse cultural programs, and enviromental impact Supporting evidence-based programs designed to increase economic prosperity in the region, including safe and affordable housing, effective workforce development and financial literacy programs. Supporting strategies proven to have the most influence on students.
This includes early childhood education and school readiness, supportive school environments and positive teacher interactions, and positive behavioral developments.
