We partner with nonprofits and community organizations to respond to pressing local needs and emerging opportunities. Through our competitive grant programs, we invest in local solutions that enhance well-being throughout our region.

These grant opportunities are made possible by generous donors who have contributed unrestricted and broadly defined area-of-interest gifts to the Foundation, which allow us to respond to our community’s changing goals and challenges over time. To ensure funding goes where it is needed most, every competitive award is decided in partnership with volunteer community reviewers from across Lewis, Mason, and Thurston counties.
