That’s why we work together with our employees, superior performing brands, and partners to help people meet their daily cleaning, health and hygiene needs.
Champion girls’ confidence and work to #EndPeriodPoverty by promoting period education and increasing access to period products. Tackle issues that contribute to poor oral health around the world, donating millions of oral health products to “ Close America's Smile Gap .
” Supports premature babies and their caregivers with innovative diapers and its #PampersForPreemies program to raise awareness and funds, donating over 8 million diapers to date. Natural disasters like floods, fires and hurricanes can devastate communities and impact their access to basic resources like electricity and clean water. Tide Loads of Hope cleans clothes for families in need and gives them a sense of normalcy.
Taking Action Around the World For generations, P&G and our brands have united to support people and communities around the world in times of need. Sharing The Power of Clean Water Since 2004, we’ve shared our cleaning innovation to deliver clean water to children and families in need through our P&G Children’s Safe Drinking Water Program (CSDW), powered by the P&G Purifier of Water packet.
Each 4-gram packet acts as a mini-water treatment plant, purifying 10 liters of contaminated water in just 30 minutes by killing bacteria and viruses and removing parasites. A family can have clean drinking water for an entire day using only the packet, a bucket, a spoon, and a cloth.
Over the past 20 years, the CSDW Program has delivered more than 25 billion liters of clean water in over 100 countries working with more than 150 partners.
Delivering Relief in Times of Need Through our long-standing partnerships with disaster relief organizations, we’re able to provide the comforts of home and a sense of normalcy through services, products, and financial donations, making each day a little better for communities impacted by natural disasters and other unexpected challenges.

P&G brands help provide daily household and personal care essentials to people during times of crisis and are uniquely positioned to help meet the needs of those in underserved communities who are disproportionately impacted. Improving the daily lives of people and helping the communities in which we live and work to prosper is core to who we are as a company.
Building Homes and Communities P&G and Habitat for Humanity work together to create impact through programs in a dozen countries constructing homes and upgrading hygiene facilities and outdoor spaces in underserved communities around the world. To meet the unique needs of the people we serve and help where our brands and services can make a difference, our programs are designed in partnership with local organizations working in communities every day to improve health and wellbeing. Our commitment goes back more than a hundred years to when our founder’s grandson, William Cooper Procter, helped start the first community fund that would evolve to be United Way today.
Since that time, P&G and our employees and retirees have supported its mission in communities throughout the Americas. Since its inception in 2005, P&G Shiksha has addressed barriers to quality education in India.
Evolving into a holistic program, P&G Shiksha focuses on enhancing learning outcomes and empowering underserved communities, impacting over 5 million children in the last 20 years by supporting thousands of schools and communities. P&G and employee volunteers have helped build and repair more than 200 schools in China.
After marking its 25th Anniversary, the Project Hope Program expanded to explore artistic education models to promote the health of rural children. P&G people live and work in over 70 countries. We're focused on making a positive impact around the globe through partnerships with organizations working every day to help communities grow and thrive.
