Community Innovation Grants

Community Innovation Grants is sponsored by South Dakota Community Foundation. These grants support community problem-solving projects that lead to more effective, equitable, and sustainable solutions. The program favors proposals with project budget sizes appropriate to the grant opportunity and emphasizes inclusive, collaborative, and resourceful processes to pursue innovative solutions to community challenges.

Projects must meaningfully engage key stakeholders, thoughtfully identify those needed to create change, and include those directly affected by the problem.
