Request for Application: HHS0013925 Procurement Number : HHS0013925 Procurement Name : Community Mental Health Grant Program Name : Medical and Social Services Release Date : January 16, 2024 Submission Deadline : February 23, 2024 — 10:30 am CST The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is currently accepting Applications for the Community Mental Health Grant (CMHG) program.
The CMHG program is a behavioral health matching grant program authorized by the Texas Legislature and administered by the HHSC Behavioral Health Services (BHS) department. A grant awarded under the CMHG program must be used for the sole purpose of supporting community programs that provide mental health care services and treatment to individuals with a mental illness.
These programs should also coordinate mental health care services with other Transition Support Services. The eligible service area under this RFA is a single or any combination of Texas’ 254 counties.
