Community Mini Grants

Community Mini Grants is sponsored by Truliant Foundation. Provides $1,500 in grant funding to community-based nonprofit organizations to support programmatic or capacity-building needs.

Community Mini Grants | Grants for Non-Profit Organizations The Truliant Foundation provides $2,500 grants for non-profit capacity building. The application period for the Truliant Foundation's Community Mini Grant program will run May 1-31, 2026. Applications will be reviewed mid-July and notifications will be made in early August.

The Truliant Foundation's Community Mini Grant program provides $2,500 capacity building grants to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are serving Truliant member communities. These grants are intended to be used for professional development and training for staff and board members to equip individuals with the necessary skills to drive forward the mission of their organization.

This program will also consider requests for materials and supplies for programs that support the Foundation's focus areas.

Consideration is given to nonprofits that meet the following criteria: Have an operating budget of less than $500,000 Operate in a community where Truliant has a branch Have a tax-exempt status under the IRS section 501(c)(3) Have been in operation for at least three years Have a volunteer board overseeing the organization Align with one of our focus areas (outlined below) For additional information, please email [email protected] .

About the Truliant Community Mini Grant Program Since 2008, the Community Mini Grant program has awarded nearly $450,000 to more than 450 nonprofit organizations to address programming and capacity-building needs. The Community Mini Grant program is part of the Truliant Foundation. The Truliant Foundation invests in local community programs supporting three focus areas: Social Mobility, Financial Wellness, and Workforce Education.

These areas are essential to our mission and to strengthen our communities. Nonprofit organizations providing personal guidance and activities to build basic stability that will cultivate prosperity for individuals and their families.

Examples: food insecurity, affordable housing, clothing, access to transportation Nonprofit organizations that are specifically engaged in activities that promote and improve financial inclusion and financial literacy for adults.

Examples: first time home buying programs, financial counseling and education, credit building activities Nonprofit organizations supporting transformational education and workforce development programs that advance career skills and talent development for adult learners. Examples: mentoring and leadership programs, soft skills and work skills development, teacher support Truliant is unable to support some requests.
