Community Needs Grants - DeKalb County Community Foundation - 2026 Grant Guidelines - Community Needs Grants (NEW) Applications open July 1 - September 1,2026! Through the Community Needs Grants program, the DeKalb County Community Foundation supports the capital needs of nonprofit and public sector organizations serving DeKalb County. These grants help organizations enhance their operations and better meet local needs.

Applying for a Community Needs Grant NEW: If your project involves facility construction or expansion, please apply through the Build the Future Grant program, which replaces the large-request section of Community Needs Grant. Before applying, all applicants should review the Community Needs Grant guidelines . Application deadlines: March 1 and September 1 (due by 11:59 p.

m.) Applications open two months prior to each deadline. Preference is given to 501(c)(3) organizations.
