Community Partnership Fund

Community Partnership Fund is sponsored by Metro Nashville Office of Financial Management, Grants Coordination Division. A competitive grant program for non-profits serving residents of Nashville-Davidson County, aimed at delivering various community services. This fund was formerly known as The Community Enhancement Fund.

Grants Coordination Division of Finance | Nashville. gov Grants Coordination Division of Finance The Grants Division of the Finance Department carries out two functions: Coordinates the processing of grants from outside grantors to Metro government. Manages contracting processes generally made by Metro government through Direct Appropriations to local non-profit organizations.

Metro Nashville currently awards grants to nonprofit organizations primarily through the following processes: Community Safety Partnership Fund, Community Partnership Fund, and Direct Appropriations. There may be other grant opportunities awarded by Metro agencies or departments as part of their operations to fulfill their missions.

To be considered eligible to receive a grant from Metro, a nonprofit organization must provide the following in accordance with Section 5. 04. 070 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws - grants made to nonprofit organizations.

Community Safety Partnership Fund The Community Safety Partnership Fund (the “Fund”) was established to strengthen neighborhoods and promote community safety.

The Fund will support community nonprofits who are ready to partner with Metro in the following areas: Group Violence Intervention Programs Violence Interruption Programs Improving the Physical Environment of high crime areas Strengthening Anti-Violence Social Norms and Peer Relationships Engaging and Supporting Youth Programs that provide peer support and therapy The Community Safety Partnership Fund is currently administered by the Metro Public Health Department.

Community Partnership Fund The Community Partnership Fund, formerly known as The Community Enhancement Fund, is a competitive grant program for non-profits serving residents of Nashville-Davidson County. This fund is a vehicle for delivering services to the community not provided by Metro Nashville Government, as well as services that enhance existing Metro programs.

These funds are approved through the Metro budget ordinance on an annual basis. If approved in the FY 26 Metro Budget Ordinance, the funds will be available to the following two Metro departments: Office of Family Safety and Juvenile Court. The Grants Coordination team in the Finance Department does not manage this grant program.

The individual departments noted above manage the process and have their own separate application process and timeline. Additional grant funds may be available through the budget process to provide services on Metro’s behalf or enhance services to help achieve Metro’s mission. There is not a formal application process as there is no guarantee of funds available on an annual basis.

Nonprofits may reach out to an individual Metro department/agency or request a meeting with the Mayor’s Office to present such services or enhancements.
