Trans Empowerment Project The objective of the Trans Empowerment Project's Knoxville chapter is to help build power for trans and gender non-conforming individuals across Appalachia. They do this by addressing important short- and long-term needs of members of the trans community—offering services ranging from employment assistance to inmate advocacy to emergency aid.
