Amgen Foundation Community Grants: Supporting Local Change In the United States and Puerto Rico, we invest in strengthening the communities where Amgen employees live and work. Each year, we award grants to nonprofit organizations that are making a lasting and meaningful impact in Amgen communities.
While nearly all of these grants are made by invitation, we will respectfully consider a small number of unsolicited requests for programs in our U. S and Puerto Rico communities, which align with our strategy of strengthening science education. The Amgen Foundation does not consider race, gender, religion or any other protected characteristic when determining eligibility for its community grants program.
A snapshot of our progress with Amgen Foundation Community Grants nonprofits supported since 2002 Food Share Supports Ventura County Food Share Ventura County supports the community around Amgen's headquarters by providing nutritious food to approximately 300 different food pantries in the region.
