Home - Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County Welcome to the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County We are able to take credit card and e-check/ACH donations through our online giving portal. If you run into an error message, please call our office at 812-265-3327. Our office is open on Monday, December 30 and Tuesday December 31 from 8am to 5pm to accept cash or check donations.
Mailed donations must be postmarked by December 31 and can be sent to P. O. Box 306, Madison, IN 47250.

2027 Leadership Jefferson County Application OPEN 2025 CFMJC Annual Report Available Community Foundation Announces Inaugural G1K Program Competitive Grant Cycle Winner Celebrating the Leadership Jefferson County Class of 2026 Community Foundation Awards Community Support Grant to Ohio Theatre Renovations Lillian “Lilly” Canida Named 2026 Lilly Endowment Community Scholar Donors give to existing endowments or use their tax deductible gift to establish a new endowment to fund what matters to them or a loved one.
To create a perpetual stream of funding from the endowments, donations are pooled together for investment purposes to meet our goal of long-term growth. Each year, a portion of the market value of the endowments becomes grants to nonprofit organizations and scholarships for Jefferson County students.
