Community Promotion Grant Program (City of Columbia) is sponsored by City of Columbia, South Carolina. When funds are available, the General Fund supports this program, focusing on programs that address key impact areas identified by the City Council. The City's Office of Business Opportunities also manages small business assistance loans.

Community Promotions Grants are available only when funding permits.

Community Promotions Grant: General Fund dollars, through this grant, provide financial support to non-profit or charitable organizations located within the City of Columbia, as funding becomes available. Applications for Community Promotions Grants will be available once funds (if any) are allocated after fiscal year-end. There is no funding available for Community Promotions Grants at this time.

Once funding is available, a Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA), will be posted here on the City’s website. The process for applying for a grant will be outlined in the NOFA. Community Promotions Grant Required Forms & Documentation Community Promotions Grant – Disbursement Request Form : Required to request disbursement of grant funds.

Must include a contact phone number and a brief explanation of how the funds will be used. Statement of Assurance/Certification: Confirms compliance with all grant requirements and verifies that funds will be used only for approved purposes. (Attached to your award letter) Line‑Item Budget: Provides a detailed breakdown of planned expenditures directly related to the funded project or program.

IRS W‑9 Form : Required for vendor setup and payment processing. Must match the organization’s legal name and tax identification number. City of Columbia New Vendor Form : Required for organizations not currently registered in the City’s vendor system.

City of Columbia Business License : Proof of a valid business license for the fiscal year in which funds are awarded.
