Community Promotion Grant Program is sponsored by City of Frederick, MD. This program awards funding to nonprofit charitable or civic organizations to supplement existing funds that create or enhance services positively impacting the greatest number of City of Frederick residents.

The Community Promotion Grant Program awards funding to nonprofit charitable and/or civic organizations to supplement existing funds that either create or enhance services that positively impact the greatest number of City residents.

The City Council (then Board of Aldermen) adopted the Community Promotion Grant Policy ( Resolution 17-18 ) on October 19, 2017, to formalize the process for the application and distribution of City funds to nonprofit organizations. All applicants MUST attend one of the two virtual information sessions: Monday, December 15, 2025 | 1:00–2:00 PM Register → Thursday, January 15, 2026 | 12:00–1:00 PM Register → Complete the Online Application (Foundant) .
