Community Resilience Partnership Round 7 Community Action Grants is sponsored by Maine Office of Community Affairs. Provides grants to Maine communities for climate action projects addressing greenhouse gas emissions and climate resilience.

Community Resilience Partnership | Office of Policy Innovation & Future Community Resilience Partnership Working to help Maine communities reduce emissions and prepare for the effects of climate change. Communities in Maine can join the Partnership individually, or through a regional group, after completing three simple steps.

Round 7 Community Action and Service Provider Grant Applications NOW OPEN The Maine Office of Community Affairs (MOCA) is excited to announce the opening of the next round of Community Action Grant and Service Provider Grants through the Community Resilience Partnership. This round of Community Action Grants is open to all enrolled communities. The Partnership will make up to $5.

Nature-based Design Technical Assistance Applications NOW OPEN Application deadline: June 19, 2026 Through the Nature-based Design (NBD) opportunity, participating communities will receive direct support from a qualified engineering firm, who will provide a set number of hours to each community to develop 30% preliminary engineering designs for nature-based or hybrid strategies for one or more high priority public properties that is vulnerable to climate impacts..

See Grant Program Statement and additional program information. Enrollment in the Community Resilience Partnership is the first step to become eligible for a grant. Municipal governments, Tribal Governments, plantations, townships, and unorganized territories can enroll in the Partnership at anytime.

Learn more about the enrollment process. In Spring 2024 and Spring 2025, we're pleased to announce that the Community Resilience Partnership made 153 direct grants to towns, tribes, and unorganized communities in Maine, totaling $10. 3 million.

Additionally, $1. 2 million in Service Provider Grants is helping 99 communities determine local priorities, enroll in the Partnership, complete vulnerability assessments, and apply for grant funds to support their energy efficiency, clean energy, and community resilience goals. A total of 263 communities and 24 service provider organizations are currently participating in the Partnership.
