Children, Youth and their Families About the Community Response and Violence Prevention Initiative RFP The Adult Probation Department (APD) , in partnership with the Department of Children, Youth and Their Families (DCYF), and the Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking up to three nonprofit organizations to provide coordinated violence prevention and intervention services through the Community Response and Violence Prevention Initiative (CRVP).
Organizations funded through this RFP will provide year-round street outreach, conflict mediation, community de-escalation and safe passage services for at-risk youth, transition-age youth and young adults (TAY/A), and adults. Awardees will work together and with City agencies and public schools to coordinate violence prevention efforts across San Francisco. This RFP provides up to $3.
1 million per year to fund up to three nonprofit organizations. Grants will run from January 1, 2027, through June 30, 2029. Submit RFP questions to RFP@dcyf.
