Jackson County, Oregon Government - Community Service Awards Nominations for the 2026 Jackson County Community Service Awards are now open. A Community Service Award is presented monthly to local organizations or individuals who have displayed exceptional volunteer service to the community of Jackson County.
Recipients are selected based on the service they perform, the duration of their service, and how their contributions help address or alleviate a community issue. Consideration is also given to those who volunteer beyond their regular work hours to provide services that benefit or improve the community. Eligibly organizations must be nonprofit, community-based, or volunteer-driven.
Elected Officials are not eligible for nomination, as their public service duties are part of their official role. Community Service Award – Nomination Form Nominations are accepted throughout the year. Please send a completed Community Service Award Nomination Form to the Board of Commissioners' Office, 10 South Oakdale, Room 214, Medford, OR 97501.
