Federal Fiscal Year 2026 -Amended (January 15, 2026- September 30, 2026) Federal Fiscal Year 2025-2026 (October 1, 2024 - January 14, 2026) Federal Fiscal Year 2023-2024 (October 1, 2022 - September 30, 2024) Federal Fiscal Year 2021-2022 (October 1, 2020 - September 30, 2022) T he Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) is a federal, anti-poverty block grant that provides base funding for Nebraska's nine local Community Action Agencies (CAA).
These agencies create, coordinate and deliver programs and services to low-income families in all 93 counties of Nebraska.
Blue Valley Community Action Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders County Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska Northwest Community Action Partnership Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership Southeast Nebraska Community Action Services Provided by CAAs The CAAs conduct community needs assessments to determine services that will be provided in each region.
The services provided by the CAAs are based on the needs of their community, such as: Food and nutrition programs Abuse prevention and intervention Family parenting classes Head Start, Early Head Start, and Migrant Head Start Community Services Block Grant Program Coordinator DHHS.
