How do we help uplift our region? Our Community Care Hub provides resources for community based organizations and their workforce to access the support and training they need to serve. But sometimes, we need to come together to share our best thinking about how to build capacity across the region.
Better Health Together (BHT) supports community based organizations in our region by sponsoring events and community engagement activities that promote community wellness and elevate community voices in Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Lincoln, and Adams counties and the Reservations of the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, the Spokane Tribe of Indians, and the Colville Confederated Tribes.
Better Health Together (BHT) is offering $4,500 grant-writing stipends for community based organizations applying for regional, state, or federal funding. NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields.
