Community Tree Fund To Support 6 Planting Projects | Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program Community Tree Fund To Support 6 Planting Projects We are thrilled to announce the six recipients of the Community Tree Fund mini-grant program.
These grants are made possible by a generous donation from the Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO) and are intended to support small-scale plantings in public spaces to increase access to the benefits of trees.
This year's recipients are: Step Out VT, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women transitioning from addiction, incarceration, and trafficking We are so pleased to be able to support these projects, and stay tuned for highlights from spring tree plantings!
