The Community Workforce Partnership Grant builds on the framework of the Urban Agenda program, emphasizing collaboration, community-defined solutions to community goals, and workforce skill development. Funded through the Workforce Investment Trust Fund, this program is dedicated to equipping residents and small business employees with the skills, support, and knowledge they need to succeed.
Eligible applicants include Massachusetts nonprofit organizations with workforce development experience, applying on behalf of a partnership or coalition. Projects must focus on a single geographic community and address a specific economic need or opportunity through job training, literacy programs, small business workforce development, apprenticeships, and more . Grants of up to $150,000 are available on a cost reimbursement basis.
