Home - Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley Connecting People Who Care with Causes that Count The Community Foundation collaborates with generous individuals and organizations to bring opportunity, equity and success to the people of the Mahoning Valley. Since 2000, we have facilitated more than 250 charitable funds that have deeply impacted our community, delivering more than $60 million to hundreds of important causes.
Our most pressing initiatives include: Provides crucial support to residents most deeply affected by widespread emergencies and crises; was an integral resource during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Supports targeted grant investments, staff training, community education and endowment funds specifically dedicated to fostering a community where race no longer determines one’s well-being.
