For Professional Advisors Alternatives to Private Foundations Competitive Grants Program Home » Non Profits » Competitive Grants Program Competitive Grants Program Henderson Community Foundation meets the changing needs of Henderson and the Las Vegas Valley through our discretionary and donor fund grant making.
Some donors have created funds to support designated charitable agencies, to provide scholarships to students, or to support their ongoing, evolving charitable interests. Other donors have established funds with a broader purpose or have entrusted the Foundation with unrestricted dollars to respond to the community’s current and evolving needs. Through both types of grant making, HCF is able to change lives and transform communities.
Our Grant Distribution Committee, which includes board members and knowledgeable community representatives, makes annual competitive grants targeted to critical community needs. Since our grant making inception, HCF has awarded more than $50,000 to deserving charities that help our community.
