Each LEA may receive one award per year per eligible teacher. Teachers must be actively teaching CS content in a Georgia public school to qualify. The Computer Science Teacher Equipment and Community (CSTEC) Grant is administered by the Georgia Department of Education to help CS teachers build strong classroom learning environments.
The grant provides individual teachers with equipment funding to support hands-on CS instruction, helping Georgia meet its goal of expanding access to quality computer science education for all students across the state. Application and Distribution Applications are submitted through GaDOE when the program is funded and an application window is open. Availability depends on state appropriations and is not guaranteed each year.
