By closing the waitlist, this will allow us to focus our resources on serving those who have already been waiting and ensure we remain responsible with the funding we currently have available. The Connect Douglas Transportation Voucher Program is designed to assist seniors and people with disabilities in meeting their transportation needs.
Eligible participants use assigned vouchers to pay for trips from partnering private Transportation Providers that operate like a taxi service. Vouchers can be used to travel in and outside of Douglas County to destinations around Metro-Atlanta. List of voucher providers: Transportation Providers Packet All participants can receive up to $200 in vouchers (2 books) each month at a cost of $20 per month.
The Transportation Voucher Program is funded by a grant from the Atlanta Regional Commission and financed in part by funds provided by the U. S Government through the Georgia Department of Human Services. Douglas County residents are eligible to participate in the Voucher Program due to age or disability.

Interested applicants are enrolled into the program in the order they were added to the waitlist. Waitlisted applicants are notified by phone when they are able to join the program. To be added to the Waitlist, please call (770) 920-7514 or complete the online Waitlist Request Form .
