Capital Improvements Request for Information (RFI) Connecticut Early Childhood Facilities Construction and Renovation Grant Program The Office of Early Childhood (OEC), through the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), is getting ready to offer grants to child care programs for construction, renovation, and quality improvement projects. We have $13 million in funding available from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
Funding will be open to all licensed providers in Connecticut — child care centers, family child care homes, and group child care homes — as well as providers in the process of becoming licensed. Last updated August 29, 2026
